TGI Friday's Dinner

We were supposed to go to Friday's for July 4th dinner but you know how plans have a way of changing so we went last night instead. We decided to go to the nearest branch by Sta. Lucia. I have never been there before and I thought it looked pretty nice. As for the food, it was just as good as any other branch, I guess.

For starters, Jer had the Loaded Potato Skins. This is a staple for him when we go to Friday's.
It was good and the skins were large but they could have used more cheese and bacon.

I had the Broccoli Cheese Soup.
Aside from the fact that there was one broccoli floret, this soup was outstanding.

For the main course, Jer had a Bacon Cheeseburger. Apparently, they got his order wrong and gave him something else. I don't know what this burger is called but it looked good. The big slab of mozzarella on top of the patty was calling my name.
I had Bruschetta White Fish.
Look at that big serving. I think they got the broccoli for my soup and used it for the main course instead!

All in all, the meal was good. We actually got so full that we had to take home half of our food to eat later in the night. However, I can't help but think that I could have gotten the same quality of food for far cheaper in other places. I guess it's the name "Friday's" that jack up the prices.

Oh, look at this sign:
Free beer tomorrow. Pity the picture is too dark but I am sure you can see if if you click on the picture to enlarge it.
